During your headshot session, I direct everything — head position, expression, where your eyes look, what your mouth does between shots. You will never be left wondering what you're supposed to be doing. Multiple looks in a single session
Most individual headshot sessions include time for two outfit changes and two background or expression variations, so you walk away with a small library of usable images rather than a single look. Your headshot session can happen in three different ways depending on the look you're after.
Studio Headshots
Studio headshots feature clean, controlled lighting and a neutral or branded backdrop. This is the most classic option — polished, timeless, and infinitely versatile across professional platforms. Studio sessions are also the most predictable; weather and external environment are not factors.
On-location Headshots at Your Work
On-location headshots use your office, studio, or workplace as the backdrop — useful when you want the imagery to feel connected to where you actually work. This is the most common format for corporate team headshots and is particularly effective for businesses with distinctive offices or branded spaces.
Outdoor and environmental headshots
For a more modern, approachable feel, outdoor and environmental headshots use natural light and soft outdoor settings. When to update your Headshot
A professional headshot has a shelf life.
