Beaverton Headshot Photographer

Polished, current headshots that actually look like you

HEADSHOT SESSIONS

Your headshot is the first impression. It deserves more than a phone selfie.

Your professional headshot is on your LinkedIn, your company website, your speaker bio, your real estate sign, your conference badge. It's the image that introduces you before you ever speak — and an outdated, harshly lit, or visibly amateur headshot quietly costs you opportunities.

As a Beaverton headshot photographer with 15+ years of experience and a background in fashion design, I create headshots that are polished, current, and unmistakably you. My approach is calm and specific, built especially for professionals who don't think of themselves as photogenic. Most clients tell me by the end of the session that they actually like how they look on camera — often for the first time.

I serve professionals and corporate teams across Beaverton, Portland, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, and Tigard.

MY APPROACH

Calm direction. Confident headshots.

Most professionals walk into a headshot session expecting to feel awkward — and they almost always do for the first few minutes. My job is to get you past that quickly. I direct every small thing — chin position, shoulder angle, where your eyes go, what you do with your mouth between shots — so you're never left guessing.

I also pay close attention to styling. With a background in fashion design, I bring an eye for fit, color, and silhouette to every headshot. Your final images look polished because every visual decision behind them is intentional.

What's included in your Beaverton Headshot session

Every headshot session at Studio Nagita is designed to deliver images you'll actually use — not a thousand near-duplicates you have to sort through. Here's what to expect from inquiry through delivery.

Pre-session planning & Styling Guide

Before your session, we'll connect to talk through where you'll be using your headshots, what tone you want them to convey, and what you'll be wearing. I'll send a personalized wardrobe guide covering colors, fit, and how to prepare. By the time you arrive, the strategy is set and we can focus on shooting.

Icebreakers and Guided Direction for the best angles

During your headshot session, I direct everything — head position, expression, where your eyes look, what your mouth does between shots. You will never be left wondering what you're supposed to be doing. This is what makes the difference between headshots that look stiff and headshots that look like a confident, approachable version of you.

Multiple looks in a single session

Most individual headshot sessions include time for two outfit changes and two background or expression variations, so you walk away with a small library of usable images rather than a single look. This is particularly valuable if you need different headshots for different platforms — a more formal version for the company website, a friendlier version for LinkedIn.

image Delivery

Final edited high-resolution headshots are typically delivered within 7 to 10 business days via a private online gallery. You'll receive web-optimized files for online platforms and print-ready files for any physical use. Rush turnaround is available if you have a time-sensitive deadline.

Types of Headshot Sessions

Individual headshot sessions are ideal for executives, consultants, attorneys, real estate agents, financial advisors, doctors, therapists, speakers, authors, and any professional whose work depends on being known by name and face. These sessions typically run 45 minutes to an hour, with time for two outfit changes and multiple looks.

Corporate and team headshots

Corporate team headshots create a consistent, professional look across your company's website, marketing materials, and internal communications. I photograph teams of any size at your office or in studio, with each team member scheduled in a 15- to 20-minute slot. All headshots in the set are edited to a consistent look, so your team feels visually unified — same lighting, same color treatment, same overall tone.

Real estate, Medical, and Professional Services Headshots

For real estate agents, medical providers, attorneys, and other professionals who need a current, approachable headshot for client-facing materials, I offer focused sessions designed to deliver exactly what your industry expects without unnecessary extras.

Individual professional Headshots

Studio, on-location, or enviromental headshots

Your headshot session can happen in three different ways depending on the look you're after.

Studio Headshots

Studio headshots feature clean, controlled lighting and a neutral or branded backdrop. This is the most classic option — polished, timeless, and infinitely versatile across professional platforms. Studio sessions are also the most predictable; weather and external environment are not factors.

On-location Headshots at Your Work

On-location headshots use your office, studio, or workplace as the backdrop — useful when you want the imagery to feel connected to where you actually work. This is the most common format for corporate team headshots and is particularly effective for businesses with distinctive offices or branded spaces.

Outdoor and environmental headshots

For a more modern, approachable feel, outdoor and environmental headshots use natural light and soft outdoor settings. These read as warmer and more personable than traditional studio shots — a good fit for therapists, coaches, creatives, and entrepreneurs who want their headshots to feel less corporate.

When to update your Headshot

A professional headshot has a shelf life. Most professionals should update theirs every 2 to 3 years — sooner if your appearance has changed meaningfully (new hairstyle, weight change, glasses, age) or if your career has shifted into a new industry or seniority level. If your current headshot is more than five years old, it is almost certainly working against you.

Other times to update: starting a new job, launching a business, getting a promotion to a more visible role, preparing for a speaking engagement, releasing a book or product, or simply realizing you've been quietly avoiding sending people to your LinkedIn.

Why Beaverton Professional choose studio nagita

There are plenty of headshot photographers in the Beaverton and Portland area. Here's what tends to set my headshot sessions apart:

15+ years of experience. I've photographed professionals from a variety of fields across the Portland metro. That experience shows in how easily a session flows and how consistently the final images deliver what clients actually need.

A fashion-trained eye on styling. Before photography, I studied and worked in fashion design. That training shows up in every styling decision — wardrobe, fit, color, silhouette — and is the reason my headshots look polished rather than accidentally informal.

Great direction for the camera-shy. Most of my headshot clients describe themselves as bad at being photographed. My direction is built specifically for that. By the second outfit change, most clients tell me they feel completely different about being on camera than they did walking in.

Consistency across corporate teams. For team headshots, every image is edited to the same lighting, color, and tone — so your team's headshots all feel like part of the same brand, not like a Frankenstein collection of different photographers' styles.
