Beaverton Senior Portrait Photographer

Senior pictures that feel like you — not a stiff yearbook pose.

Senior Portrait Sessions

Senior year deserves portraits that
actually feel like you.

This chapter of your life is huge — last football games, college applications, lasts and firsts every other week. Your senior portraits should capture who you are right now, not a generic, stiff version of who senior pictures are "supposed" to look like.

As a Beaverton senior portrait photographer with a background in fashion design, I bring a trained eye for styling, light, and composition to every senior session. Whether you want editorial and polished, soft and natural, or fun and full of personality, we'll plan a senior portrait session that feels authentically you.

I work with high school seniors from across Beaverton, Portland, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, and Tigard — and I'd love to be the photographer who captures this milestone for you.

MY APPROACH

Steady Pace, Easy Posing. Confident senior pictures.

Most seniors I meet tell me they're nervous in front of the camera. That's not just normal — it's the rule, not the exception. My calm, encouraging direction is built specifically for people who have never loved a photo of themselves.

I direct every pose, expression, and angle so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to look. You bring yourself; I'll handle the rest. By the end of your senior session, most seniors are laughing, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying themselves — and it shows in every image.

"I've never had a photograph of myself that I've liked. Never. Until Natalie did my portraits. They came out great, and she was such a pleasure to work with."

Senior Pictures your Senior
Is Proud Of

Every senior portrait session at Studio Nagita is a full creative experience, not just a quick shoot. From the first email through your final gallery, here's what you can expect when you book your senior pictures with me.

Before your session, we'll connect to talk through what you want your senior portraits to say about you. Sports, music, art, hobbies, your future plans — anything that's a meaningful part of your senior year is worth working into the imagery. I'll also walk you through location options based on the vibe you're after, whether that's nature, urban, or somewhere in between.

Personalized outfit guide

Backed by my background in fashion design, I'll guide you with consistent advice on fabrics, colors, prints, and styles that flatter your frame and skin tone — so every outfit photographs beautifully and feels like you, not your mom's idea of senior pictures (no offense, moms).

Most seniors bring two or three outfit changes, and I'll help you sequence them so each look tells a different part of your story.

How we Plan For A Successful Beaverton senior portrait session

Comfortable In front of The Camera

During your senior session, I help you find poses and expression so you never feel lost in front of the camera. I shoot in flattering natural light whenever possible and look for unexpected angles that make your senior portraits feel intentional and editorial — not posed and stiff like the senior pictures of decades past.

Great Locations for Beaverton Senior Shots

Studio Nagita has photographed seniors from across the west side of the Portland metro, including students at Beaverton High School, Sunset High School, Westview High School, Mountainside High School, Aloha High School, Southridge High School, and Jesuit High School. Whether you're a Beavers, a Sunset Apollo, a Westview Wildcat, or anywhere in between, I know the area well and can plan a senior portrait session that incorporates locations meaningful to your school years.

Senior portraits at your high school campus are also a great option — letterman jackets on the bleachers, sports gear on the field, instruments in the band room, or the front steps where you've spent four years walking in and out. If a particular location holds meaning for you, let me know and we'll build the senior session around it.

Outdoor, urban, and studio location options

The Beaverton and Portland area is full of stunning settings for senior portraits, which means we get to design a session that reflects your actual personality rather than defaulting to the same parking lot everyone else uses.

Nature and outdoor senior portrait locations

Tualatin Hills Nature Park, the Cooper Mountain Nature Park, the Tualatin River wetlands, and Hoyt Arboretum are all favorites of mine for soft, woodsy senior pictures. For golden fields and farmland looks, the rural edges of Hillsboro and Sherwood are stunning in late summer and early fall — and they're a short drive from Beaverton.

Urban Portland senior portrait locations

Downtown Beaverton: The area around SW Watson Avenue and the Beaverton Round provides modern architecture, clean brick walls, and vibrant alleyways for a sharp, contemporary vibe.

Beaverton Public Safety Center : The new Public Safety Center on Hall Blvd is a modern, urban backdrop with architectural features.

Your Online Gallery & Image Delivery

Roughly two weeks after your senior session, you'll receive a private online gallery of your fully edited, high-resolution senior portraits. Yearbook image submissions, social media sizes, and print files are all included. Professional prints, wall art, graduation announcements, and additional add-ons are available through your gallery as well.

When to book your Beaverton senior portrait session

My calendar fills up quickly during peak senior season. For seniors graduating in 2027, I recommend booking your session between June and early October the summer before senior year — that's when the light is best, the weather cooperates, and you'll have your portraits in hand well before yearbook deadlines. Most Beaverton-area high schools require senior yearbook portrait submissions sometime between September and November, so summer sessions give you plenty of breathing room.

If summer doesn't work, I also offer fall and spring senior portrait sessions for seniors who want a different seasonal feel — winter rain doesn't always cooperate, but soft fall light and blooming spring locations are gorgeous. Just reach out early. Class of 2027 seniors are already booking, and summer dates close out months in advance.

Senior portrait sessions come in three options — from a simple Mini session to a more elaborate full experience. Outfit changes, locations, and session length vary by package, ranging from 45 minutes up to 2.5 hours, so you can choose the coverage that fits your vision. Your investment covers the pre-session consultation, the session itself, professional editing, your online gallery, and digital delivery of your favorite images. Print products, wall art, and additional digital downloads are available as add-ons through your gallery.

Specific pricing for Class of 2027 and 2028 seniors is shared by email when you inquire, because session details vary based on location, length, and add-ons. I want every senior who books to feel like they're getting exactly the experience they paid for — no surprise fees, no upselling pressure.

Why seniors and parents choose Studio Nagita

There are multiple senior photographers in the Beaverton and Portland area to choose from and choosing the right one can come down to who your Senior feels comfortable with, schedule, and price.

Here's what tends to set my senior sessions apart from the typical experience you'll get from another Beaverton senior photographer:

A fashion-trained eye. Before photography, I studied and worked in fashion design. That training shows up in every senior session — in how I think about color, silhouette, styling, and composition. Your senior pictures look intentional because every visual decision is intentional.

Direction for the camera-shy. If you've never loved a photo of yourself, you are exactly the senior I want to photograph. My approach is built for nerves, and I work patiently until you feel something shift — which it always does.

A genuinely warm experience. Senior portraits should feel like a creative collaboration, not a stressful appointment. Parents tell me their seniors come home from sessions actually excited about what we made together.

Frequently asked questions about Beaverton senior pictures

How long does a senior portrait session last? Most senior sessions run 90 minutes to two hours, which gives us time for two outfit changes and multiple location setups without feeling rushed.

Can my parents or best friend come with me? Yes — I welcome a parent, sibling, or friend. Many seniors actually love bringing someone, and we can include a few portraits with family or your best friend if you'd like.

What if I don't know what to wear? That's exactly what the wardrobe guide is for. After you book, I'll walk you through outfit choices personally, with my fashion background informing every recommendation. You won't have to figure it out alone.

Can we include my pet, instrument, or car? Absolutely. Some of my favorite senior portrait sessions have included a dog, a guitar, a varsity letter jacket, or a first car. If it's part of your story this year, it belongs in your senior pictures.

Do you photograph senior couples or best-friend duo sessions? Yes — duo sessions are a fun way to split the cost and capture friendships that have shaped your high school years. Reach out and we'll plan it together.

How far in advance should I book my senior session? For Class of 2027 seniors, I recommend reaching out at least four to six weeks before your ideal session date. Summer slots typically book by April or May, so earlier is better.

What happens if it rains? Pacific Northwest weather is unpredictable, so I keep flexibility built into every booking. If the forecast looks rough, we'll reschedule to a clear day at no charge — or pivot to a covered location if you want to keep your original date.
