how It Works
A guided experience, from start to finish.
Photography should feel less like a stressful appointment and more like a thoughtful collaboration. Here's exactly what to expect when you work with Studio Nagita — a clear, full-service process built around you.

Four steps from inquiry to heirloom.
Every Studio Nagita session moves through the same considered four-step process — designed to make the photography feel effortless and the result feel inevitable.
01
You've reached out — wonderful. We'll connect by email or a short call so I can learn about your family, your vision, and what's prompting this session. By the end of our conversation, we'll both know whether we're a great fit to work together.
Get to know you
02
Once you've booked, we move into planning — location, wardrobe, timing, and any details that matter to you. You'll receive a personalized styling guide and a preparation packet, so by the time your session arrives, every decision has already been made.
Session Planning
03
Session Day
It's the day. I guide every pose, expression, and moment so you never feel uncertain in front of the camera. The pace is calm and unhurried, and my one goal is for you to actually enjoy yourself. Most clients tell me afterward it felt easier than they expected.
04
Gallery & Heirlooms
Two to three weeks after your session, your private online gallery is ready. We'll meet to view your favorites together and discuss heirloom print options — framed wall art, and beautiful albums to live in your home for decades.
Couples & Engagement Photography
Document your connection in its most natural, authentic form.
Whether you're newly engaged, planning an intimate elopement, or simply wanting to celebrate your love with a couples session, my goal is to capture the genuine connection between you two. No stiff, awkward posing — just you, your partner, and the beautiful dynamic you share.

As a Beaverton engagement photographer, I specialize in creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience. We'll choose a location that means something to you — whether that's a scenic hike in the Columbia River Gorge, a cozy in-home session, or a sunset stroll at Jenkins Estate.

MY APPROACH
Connection over perfection. Always.
My approach to family photography in Beaverton and the greater Portland area is focused on connection rather than stiff posing. We will play games, tell jokes, and let the kids be kids. The result is a gallery of light-filled, timeless images that feel exactly like you.I provide comprehensive styling guidance to ensure your family looks cohesive and feels confident. From our initial consultation to your final gallery delivery, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
Framed Wall Art
Hand-finished framed prints in a curated selection of woods and finishes. Sized and selected to fit the actual walls of your home, with in-room visualizations to help you decide before you commit.
CLIENT LOVE
What Families Are Saying
Photography should feel less like a stressful appointment and more like a thoughtful collaboration. Here's exactly what to expect when you work with Studio Nagita — a clear, full-service process built around you.
Fine Art Albums
Heirloom-quality albums printed on archival fine art paper and bound in linen or leather. Designed to be passed down — the kind of object your children will pull off a shelf decades from now.
Gallery Walls & Collections
Multi-piece wall installations designed as a single composition. Whether it's a staircase, a hallway, or a living room focal wall, I'll design a gallery wall that turns your favorite images into a cohesive piece of your home.

Why this process works.
STudio nagita photography
Most photography frustrations don't happen during the session — they happen before and after. Before, because clients are unsure what to wear, where to go, or how to prepare. After, because the gallery arrives and then nothing happens with it. The portraits exist on a hard drive, never make it onto a wall, and the whole experience starts to feel like an expensive transaction rather than a meaningful family investment.

The four-step process is built specifically to solve both ends of that. The pre-session planning means you arrive prepared, relaxed, and confident. The post-session gallery meeting means your favorite portraits actually become something you live with — printed, framed, and hanging on a wall where you'll see them every day.

That's the difference between "we had photos taken" and "we have family heirlooms." Both come out of a camera. Only one of them ends up mattering 20 years from now.
"Natalie has such a gift for capturing real, authentic moments. Our family photos feel like us — not like a photo shoot."

SERVING THE PORTLAND METRO AREA
How far in advance should I book my session?
Most sessions book 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Newborn sessions are best booked during your second or third trimester to secure a window around your due date. Fall family sessions in September and October book 8 to 10 weeks ahead, so reach out by mid-summer if you're planning holiday cards.
What should we wear for our session?
Every client receives a personalized wardrobe guide informed by my background in fashion design. As a general rule, coordinating tones rather than literally matching outfits photograph beautifully. I'll send a complete styling guide after you book.
Where will our session take place?
Sessions can take place at a variety of locations across the Beaverton and Portland metro — parks, gardens, urban settings, in your home, or in studio. We'll discuss the best location for your vision during the planning phase.
How long until we receive our photos?
Your online gallery is typically ready within 2 to 3 weeks of your session. I send a sneak peek within a few days so you have something to look forward to in the meantime.
Do you offer wall art and prints?
Yes. I offer a full range of heirloom print products including framed prints, canvas wraps, fine art albums, and wall art collections. We'll go through all options together during your gallery viewing.
What if It Rains?
Pacific Northwest weather is built into how I plan every outdoor session. If the forecast looks rough, we reschedule at no charge, or pivot to an in-home or studio backup.
Can I combine multiple session types in one booking?
Absolutely. Combined maternity and newborn sessions are a popular pairing, and many families return for annual family sessions, milestone sessions, and senior portraits. Combined packages are available at a reduced rate.
How is Studio Nagita different from other Beaverton photographers?
15+ years of experience, a fashion design background that informs every styling decision, calm direction built for clients who don't love being on camera, and a full-service process that handles everything from initial planning through heirloom print delivery.
